The Pangolin- A Creature Straight out of Science Fiction
It is incredible that a creature such as the pangolin even exists. They are very unique creatures. They are the only known mammals that have keratin scales covering their skin (Briggs). This is the same material that makes up nails and hair. They roll up in balls and these scales are used as protective armor against such predators as lions and tigers.
